Who we are
Quickcheck (Electrical Contractor Licence No. 1513304) provides smoke alarm compliance, electrical safety and property compliance services across the Wide Bay–Burnett region of Queensland. Our office is at 82 George St, Bundaberg QLD 4670. This policy explains how we handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
When you book a service, request a callback or contact us, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, property address(es), and details about the services you need. For property managers, we may also hold details of the properties and tenancies you manage as needed to deliver compliance services.
How we use it
We use your information to schedule and perform services, issue compliance records and invoices, remind you before compliance due dates, respond to enquiries, and meet our own legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party marketing.
Storage and security
Service records are stored in our compliance database so we can remind you before anything falls due. We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. Booking requests submitted through our website form are transmitted to us by our form-processing provider.

You can request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you at any time by calling (07) 4159 1997 or emailing reception@quickcheck.net.au.
Complaints
If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, contact us first and we'll work to resolve it. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
