The fine print: what's not included
- Damaged or missing smoke alarms.
- Smoke alarms not installed by Quickcheck: replacement and additional costs apply, including at upgraded properties and under another manufacturer's warranty.
- Rectifying other electricians' installations, or troubleshooting general electrical faults.
- Out-of-hours callouts, or another contractor attending out of hours.
- Within the manufacturer's warranty period, a faulty Quickcheck-installed alarm is replaced free of charge under the program. Outside manufacturer warranty, replacement is at additional cost: RED alarms installed at $165 per alarm where required; quotes available for other alarm brands on request.
