Quickcheck is known for smoke alarms, but our electricians also handle general electrical work, often on
the same visit: power points, switches, light fittings, fans, and stove, oven and
cooktop repairs, all from $130 per hour plus parts, less while on
site. One contractor, one invoice, business hours only. For
everything else electrical, one call covers it.

The same-visit saving
The cheapest time for electrical work is while we're already there for a compliance visit: no
second call-out. Spot a cracked switch or dead power point, and we can quote it at the
on-site rate.
What we don't do
We'd rather be straight: business hours only (Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm), no 24-hour
callouts, no dishwashers, air-conditioners or general appliance repair. Everything else electrical,
we've got.

Can you install fittings I've bought myself?
Yes, happily. We carry quality fittings on the truck, but also install owner-supplied fittings and fans to suit your budget and taste.
Do you do rewiring or switchboard upgrades?
Call with the details. We focus on smoke alarm compliance and general electrical maintenance, and we don't currently take on switchboard upgrades or larger rewires, but we'll happily point you to a specialist who can.
